Rose Mackwelung Library

The library serves high school students, College of Micronesia students, and the public. The library has around 15,000 materials including reference materials, general collection, children’s collection, fiction materials and Pacific materials.

Materials can be checked out except for reference and Pacific materials. The library is open to all interested users and researchers.

Location

The library is located next to the Department of Education in Tofol in the old Kosrae High School cafeteria building. 

Hours

Open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays. 

Organizations

The library is a member of the Pacific Island Association of Libraries, Archives and Museum for by librarians, archivists and curators in the Pacific islands.
